What is a turbo session?
You hook your normal road bike onto a turbo trainer which turns your bike into a stationary trainer. After a gentle warm up you then enter into structured interval sessions. This involves intense workouts for a set amount of time designed to stress your cardiovascular system, these are repeated over the course of roughly an hour. We use sufferfest videos which include these intense intervals while watching pro race footage with some loud music too. This keeps it fun and strangely enjoyable. During the days following these sessions your body will recover and improve your fitness level so come spring you’ll hit the road flying.
